- Intrusive memories or distressing triggers

Sometimes weekly therapy is not the only way to undertake trauma-focused psychological work.
A Trauma & EMDR Intensive provides an opportunity to engage in focused psychological therapy over a concentrated period, with longer or more frequent sessions than would usually occur in weekly therapy.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based psychological therapy used in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress.
An intensive format provides greater time for preparation, processing and integration while maintaining an individualised and considered approach.

Psychological Assessment Clinic
Understand – Clarify – Plan
Sometimes we know that something is difficult, but understanding why can be much less clear.
Psychological assessment provides an opportunity to explore cognitive, psychological, behavioural and neurodevelopmental functioning in greater depth. It can help identify patterns of strengths and difficulties, clarify concerns that may have been present for some time, and provide information to guide appropriate support and recommendations.
Assessment may be helpful when there are questions about attention and ADHD, autism, learning difficulties, cognitive functioning, executive functioning or other psychological and neurodevelopmental concerns.
My approach to assessment considers more than individual test scores. Assessment findings are understood within the context of the whole person — including developmental history, psychological wellbeing, lived experience, education, work, relationships and everyday functioning. The aim is to develop greater understanding and practical direction, rather than simply provide a diagnostic label.
Psychological assessment can help develop a clearer understanding of cognitive, psychological, behavioural and everyday functioning.
